At Nortline Womens Health Center, we are proud to be able to offer complete obstetrical and gynecologic care to women in our community.
Annual Exams
Anual exams include an evaluation of breasts, abdomen,pelvic, and sometimes rectal area. They sometimes involve exams of the heart, lungs, thyroid gland and back. They usually involve a PAP smear. These exams also include an evaluation of the skin surrounding all of the above areas, a blood pressure check, pulse check and urine evaluation. All women should have these exams yearly, starting at the age of 18, or sooner if a women becomes sexually active before that age.
Breast Care
Breast exams are performed routinely at all anual exams. Self breast exam is taught, and any breast complaints (pain,lumps,discharge,etc.) are evaluated URGENTLY. Appropriate tests (mammogram, ultrasound, etc.) are also ordered.

Family Planning
Depending on the patients needs, various types of hormonal contraception (birth control pills, shots, patches, vaginal rings), IUDs (Mirena and Paragaurd types), barrier methods (condoms,diaphrams),and permanent sterilization surgery (laparoscopic tubal, hysteroscopic tubal occlusion) are offered. We even have a urologist that comes to our office that can offer the best permanent sterilization method of all, VASECTOMY (Get him fixed!). Natural family planning is also taught.

Incontinence Care
"Irritable bladder" or "stress" incontinence are two of the most common problems that affect women. Often however, patients are too embaressed to bring these problems up. Please let one of our providers know if this is a problem for you. We Can Help!!
Infertility Care
Couples having difficulty concieving are evaluated and treatment is initiated. In some cases we refer patients to infertlity specialists (reproductive endocrinologists), but most of our patients are pregnant long before that becomes necessary.

We offer conventional menopausal treatment options, as well as guidence with herbal or alternative treatments.
Pregnancy Care
We offer both low risk and high risk pregnancy care and delivery. In some cases, we work hand in hand with high risk specialists (perinatologists), to help achieve the healthiest outcome possible for you and your new baby.

Our doctors are are American College of OBGYN board certified surgeons that can offer the latest in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, should that become necessary in your care.
Ultrasound
At Northline Womens Health Center, we offer the latest in female pelvic ultrasound, including 3D and 4D technology.
